Our barre classes are low-impact, full-body workouts that blend elements of yoga, Pilates, and strength training. They are designed to sculpt and strengthen muscles, while also increasing flexibility and balance. While challenging, the classes are ideal for those just starting a workout routine and are a great complement to other fitness activities such as high-intensity training, biking, running, golf, or tennis. They are safe for both younger and older clients – and are just as effective for men as they are for women.
IYF is not your standard fitness studio. It is a mobile barre studio, meaning we aren't tied to one space for classes. Through collaborating with other local businesses, we mix up the environment providing a varied experience. By not having our own brick and mortar space, we are also able to offer very competitively priced service options.
I highly recommend Illuminate You Fitness. Kelly is the best barre instructor. She gives super clear instructions and corrections. She truly cares. The price is great, too! I love the studio it’s housed in and the first class is free.
Kelly is a great instructor. You will get the best work out. If you haven't tried a barre class, you can do it. You'll be stronger, more flexible and just feel a big difference in you.
I am an exercise lover and exercise 6 days a week, cycle, weights, while I am not an expert, I am feeling it in places that traditional weight training doesn’t get. I think it will be a nice addition to my workouts.
