IYF co-founders met at a health club in 1995 and have since lived an active lifestyle.
The Megyese's feel that a physically and mentally strong foundation is critical for good health and can help with confidence throughout life. After relocating to Phoenix, AZ they started IYF in 2019 to share what they’ve learned about achieving mind and body balance. Rather than starting with their own physical space, Kelly and Matt devised a different model - IYF is an online studio offering live interactive classes, on-demand videos, and fitness gear.
As an advocate for health and wellness, Kelly uses her experience as a fitness instructor to help others achieve their personal goals. She is certified as an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Instructor; Barre Above Instructor; Pilates Fitness Instructor; and for Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED. Kelly is the "face" of IYF as our class instructor.
Matt discovered low-impact exercise as a way to complement other workouts, like running and lifting weights, then was hooked. He was certified as an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Instructor and for CPR/AED through EMS University, but instead of teaching is an IYF student. Matt is the one behind our tech, website/app, and branding/marketing activities.
