February is American Heart Month, and we’re focusing on the power of movement to support heart health. Join us for the Heart Strong challenge by committing to 30 minutes or more of movement at least 5 days per week. This approach aligns with the American Heart Association’s recommendation of 150 minutes of weekly activity to support cardiovascular health. Your movement can include IYF live or on-demand classes, walking or cardio-based activity, strength training, or any activity that gets you moving and feels good in your body. Minutes can be completed all at once or broken up throughout the day. Participants are also encouraged to include muscle-strengthening activities at least twice per week and to take at least one rest or active recovery day each week. Let’s move with purpose and take care of our hearts — one workout at a time.
